Choose the coat !

As the weather begins to get colder, it's important to start thinking about shopping for the perfect women's coat to bundle up in. A winter coat is essential if you live in a cold climate. Your winter coat is going to be one of your bigger clothing purchases and one of most used items in your closet during the winter, so you should enjoy wearing it. If your outerwear is right for your life and for your shape, you will look your best, no matter the occasion.

Larger figures will look best in leaner straight cuts and should avoid double-breasted coats or those made of thick material . Choose a coat that looks good worn open too.

Belted coats look best on slim and petite figures - opt for one with a wider belt which will flatter a thicker waist.

It's best to determine your wardrobe needs first and go from there. Ideally, every wardrobe should have an outerwear jacket and a knee-length coat. • Along with the length of coat, don’t forget to consider the shape and where the pockets are.
